“I registered my SIM card around two months ago; nevertheless, when I attempted to call my mother the day before yesterday, I was unable to make calls.
” One of those impacted disclosed to Citi News that they had gotten an SMS this morning informing them that their SIM card had been disabled.
However, it has been reported that the sanctions, which include preventing unregistered SIM cards from making calls for a period of time and also disabling the SIM cards for a period of time, are impacting some SIM cards that have been successfully registered.
