Church gives Certificate of Virginity to young ladies after testing them in South Africa

Female churchgoers in South Africa who are at least 18 years old are subjected
to virginity tests.

According to reports, the Nazareth Baptist Church in Durban, South Africa, started
this custom to inspire young women there to maintain their virginity.

A white mark is allegedly put on the foreheads of individuals who pass the exam
and a “Certificate of Virginity” is allegedly presented to them. It is supposed to be
an annual event that occurs in the middle of the year.

The females must take another test the following year because the certificate
is only good for one year.
On Tuesday, July 6, the church administered the virginity test for 2022–2023; those who passed received a certificate as usual.
The church leader and the expert who verified their virginity both signed the
certificate.
Social media users have posted photos from the workout.
